2-day Dr Jagdish Gandhi Memorial Moot Court Conclave concludes at CMS

Lucknow, 26 April : The two-day 'Dr Jagdish Gandhi Memorial Moot Court Conclave' organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I concluded today at its auditorium. This two-day event witnessed the presence of renowned law professionals apprising students of their experiences and nuances of legal points, whereas participating students mesmerized all with their knowledge of law, logical and argumentative skills, and analytical and presentation skills. This Inter-school Moot Court Competition showed a simulation of a real court with complainants and respondents presenting arguments. As the complainants and respondents, the student teams presented their strong arguments on various topics like environmental improvement, technology and many more, mesmerizing everyone with their well-researched arguments and expression abilities. 14 schools from all over Lucknow city participated in this Conclave including various campuses of City Montessori School, La Martiniere Girls College, La Martiniere Boys College, M R Jaipuria, Delhi Public School, Eldeco and Gurukul Academy.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various events at the grand closing and honouring ceremony held today. The hosts CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I Team were awarded the Best Team Trophy while CMS Aliganj had to be content with the Runner Up Prize. Amish Gandhi, student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I and Trisha Singh of CMS Aliganj were awarded the Best Speaker Prize. Distinguished jurists and legal professionals, Ms. Suchita Shukl, Ms. Sakshi Yadav, Mr. Krishnam Pandey and Ms. Agatha Shukla judged the event. On this occasion, the Convenor of the Conclave and Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards all the participating teams and distinguished visitors saying that this competition has aroused interest in legal knowledge among students and led them to enhance their power of expression, logical abilities and desire for further research in this field.
